Joseph Tsang Mang Kin (Born 12th of March 1938) was an essayist and a poet, writing in English and French, on Mauritian History, Mauritian Diplomacy; Slavery; Religion and Freemasonry in the Indian Ocean; Mauritian Literature; Francophonie; Early Christian History; The Hakka People; Chinese and Indian Diasporas; Africa Revival; and Comparative Culture (Chinese and Western).
He was also a speaker on the above themes in Universities in Canada, Reunion, China, Mauritius, and also in Commonwealth, African Union and UNESCO Forums.
Joseph unfortunately left us on November 16, 2024. However, his contributions to Mauritius and the world are eternal.
This website is maintained in his memory by his nephew.
